The same thing happened to me with Vista. but that sometimes happens in the update process so I figure it's normal. So if you have a download failure on a particular patch, use the custom option to ignore it and do the rest.If this process fails, you could always try Microsoft Update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2509997 Duh!!!
