Woke up at 6:45am to find the same BLACK SCREEN!!!Switched it off, brought it into work, and stuck the 'Vista Recovery Disk' in (Torrent download - http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ & my own uploaded You should not have this problem after SP2 installation. After this windows will try to re=install the update once again.. I tried Safe Mode and got hung at crcdisk.sys. Check This Out
