Vista Browser Freeze


I have reinstalled the operating system without any software to no avail either. Be warned. Come to find out that a flash player update screwed around with my browsers (I.E., Firefox, Chrome). If an option doesn't help you, you may want to restore it back to its default, where applicable & possible. Now I can only do hard-reboots and my screen is completely blank.

To fix this: At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options.At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and it is'nt just vista though.

This didn't solve my problem, but may help you. Did I say firefox? The computer has no issues with games(Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, WoW) that I play, everything runs smoothly, the only issue is the browsers and maybe Flash player? Nikorr, I doubt it is a malware problem, I got a top notch Firewall/anti-virus/malware program. Vista Keeps Freezing Not Responding Then I'd open the Windows Resource Monitor. First I'd run CCleaner and clean up the registry / applications / browsers. In the right side panel, click on View Problem History and navigate to where the problems for Explorer.exe may be mentioned. If you are using p2p software it thinks you have a email spam program running it then kicks in emproxy which runs at 100% and locks up your computer, if you do Windows Vista Freezes On Internet Reboot your computer when it's in the boot up stage just keep hitting the F8 Key.
